Silver Jewelry by Mark Poulin

When I recently visited Bar Harbor, ME i found heaven. A little store called Spruce & Gussy that sells American and Canadian handcrafted goods. It felt like walking into a physical Etsy store with everything from watches, ceramics, textiles, notebooks, purses, necklaces etc, etc. I honestly  have no idea how much time passed until I left with a bag in my hand. I've always been fond of designs that are modern, yet quirky, and playful. When I started browsing the necklaces behind the counter, my eyes fell on the designs by Mark Poulin. Mark is a metalsmith from Oakland, CA who have combined his love for drawing cartoons and working with metal. I kept debating between a little owl, and the dog that you can see in the picture below. In the end, I decided to buy both. Hey... you only live once, right?!

To check out more of Mark's work, head over to his website or Etsy store. The necklaces, earrings, rings, and drawings that he create are great gifts for yourself and others. I wish I didn't have to wait a whole year until it's my birthday again. The Alley Cat is definitely next on my wish list. :)
