About a year ago I was reading on my morning commute. It is always business oriented, and most likely photography related as well (nerd alert :)). After the bus departed, my seat neighbor pointed to the book and said "are you into photography?". Um... yes I am. That's how I met Dmitriy Babichenko. Since that day we talk and talk about cameras, lenses, and things we've read, whenever we happen to be on the same bus. I recently had the opportunity to assist him at Julie's Bat Mitzvah celebration at Congregation Beth Shalom in Squirrel Hill. It was my first Bat Mitzvah experience and while I was only present for the party portion, it was a phenomenal event. Dmitriy is a true gentleman who always tries to carry my camera bag, and in return I try to carry his. He is also a lot of fun to be with, and our acrobatics on top of step ladders usually makes for a good picture. :) Dmitriy, thank you for allowing me to tag along with you, and a big congratulations to Julie in the gorgeous yellow dress who did a great job!
