A picnic in Frick Park | Pittsburgh Family Photography

Mom, can we leave dad at the park and go home, Eliot said. He had just woken up from his afternoon nap, and he wasn't too sure about having his picture taken by the stranger he had just met. I've known Simon and Melanie for years, but this was the first time we had gotten together for a family portrait session. Once we started running down the trails in Frick Park, digging dirt, exploring a hidden tepee that someone had built of fallen trees, setting up a picnic, and watching the setting sun eating animal crackers, Eliot and I were best friends. Here are a few favorites from their session, and I look forward to our upcoming play date with Alice. Pittsburgh Family Photographer
