Bethany & Dave's Intimate Wedding at Cafe du Jour

While Bethany was traveling in Thailand last summer, her boyfriend Dave decided to surprise her by giving one of her cats a lion haircut. If you factor in jet lag and sleep deprivation from traveling around the world... that can be a "risky" surprise... However, from the moment that Bethany and Dave met they were meant for each other, and on the evening when a giant yellow duck floated down the river in Pittsburgh, Dave was going to ask Bethany to marry him. With people everywhere, the proposal got postponed, and when he woke up the next morning he couldn't wait any longer. In the quiet paradise that is Frick Park, Bethany said yes. I was thrilled when they asked me to document their intimate wedding at Cafe du Jour. It was such a wonderful celebration with their closest friends and family, and I am honored that I got to capture these memories for them. We ended the night with a few portraits at the Renaissance Hotel before they danced the night away. cafe du jour weddinggroom getting readywedding reception decorationsbride walking down the aislethe groom sees the bridewedding ceremony at cafe du jourwedding ceremony at cafe du jourintimate wedding pittsburghring ceremonygroom kiss the bridewedding at cafe du jour pittsburghintimate wedding pittsburghfamily and friends at weddingchampagne toast weddingcutting the cakebride and groom's fatherswedding reception at cafe du jourwedding reception at cafe du jourcake cuttingsend a letter to the bride and groomfather and daughter at weddingcafe du jour weddingphoto bomb wedding bride and groom on pittsburgh bridgerenaissance hotel wedding
