My Garden | Adventures with Film

Everything seemed to be in bloom this early summer evening. I grabbed my Mamiya C330 that was loaded with a roll of vibrant Ektar film that I was dying to try. I had 12 frames to document my garden. A limited supply which helped me slow down, enjoy the beauty, and thoughtfully document these treasures. The irises that I am so thankful that a previous home owner planted. The fig tree that survived the winter. The wisteria I thought for years was just a weed. The apple tree that my boss gave me for my birthday. I love that there is something magical when I shoot with film. The colors. The light. The softness. The imperfections. I love it all, and can't wait to shoot more. pittsburgh film photographerpittsburgh film photographer pittsburgh film photographer pittsburgh film photographer
