On November 22nd Jenny Karlsson Photography and Petagogy teamed up for Pet Photos with Santa for the 4th year in a row, and it was a blast! Over 140 dogs and 8 cats came to have their photos taken with Santa. Each year we try to mix things up with the decor. This year I was really excited about the Christmas tree, and the custom-made sign that Ben, one of the store owners, put together. I would like to thank everyone who braved the weather and joined us that day. Below are a few of my favorite portraits from the day. To see all of the photos from the event, visit my Facebook page.

Bring your pets to Petagogy for photos with Santa on Saturday November 22nd from 11am to 5pm. I will take a photo of your pet(s) sitting on Santa's lap and will email you a free web-res photo plus provide options for ordering prints, ornaments, holiday cards and more! Pets will be seen on a first come, first served basis and must be comfortable around other animals and people. If your pet is unable to be around other animals but would still like to be photographed on Santa’s lap, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by November 19 and they will try to accommodate them.
Dogs must be on leashes (no retractable leashes, please). Cats and small animals must be in carriers. All animals over six months old must be spayed or neutered.
Round Hill Park in Elizabeth, PA has an annual tradition of hosting a blessing of the animals on the farm in early December. I was there together with the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society to take pet photos with Santa. I'm really grateful to my dear friend Alisa who volunteered to be Santa for the day. The blessing was short and sweet, and it was so wonderful to see all the people who had brought their pets. I would like to thank everyone who came to have their pet's photo taken, my husband who was indispensable at the registration table, and Alisa and her fiance Tristan who lent me their lighting equipment for the weekend.
December 9th is finally here and it is time to reveal the portraits from the Pictures with Santa event that was held at Petagogy last Saturday. What an amazing day it was. A big thank you to Petagogy for creating such a fun event, and to all pet owners who brought their cats and dogs to the store. It is pure joy to be a photographer when you get to capture so much cuteness. An email with the low-res file will be sent out today. It will then be a good time to place your order in case you'd like to purchase a 5x7, ornament, holiday cards, or the high-res file. More details on designs and prices here. The deadline for receiving free shipping is Sunday Dec 11th at midnight. The order will be placed Monday morning to ensure that you can pick up the goods at Petagogy on Saturday Dec 17th. The winner of the portrait session will be announced later today on Facebook. Enjoy!
The Pet photos with Santa event that was held this past Saturday at Petagogy was a blast! So many adorable cats and dogs came to have their photos taken. While there will be a few more days before the portraits are revealed... Here are a few shots from the event, and what was going on in the moments in between when Santa didn't have canine visitors. :)
These are the owners of Petagogy: Elsie, Ben (Santa), Cole, and Heather. They are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to pets health, and have built a really fun store for pets and their owners. Thanks guys for a wonderful day!
Anders and Foxy enjoyed a few cookies after their portraits were done. :)
This is me and my good friend Alisa who assisted me this weekend, and helped document the event. Cole did an awesome job as my attention-grabbing assistant, and Heather and Elsie rocked at the front of the store .
Santa... Well he was doing a little bit of everything. :)
