Back in September I had the pleasure of helping my great friend Aaron Varga document Angela and Steve's wedding day. While Aaron captured Angela's bridal preparations, I met Steve and his awesome groomsmen at The Priory Hotel for getting ready shots. After a few portraits outside, we took the limo over to the Inn on the Mexican War Streets for the intimate wedding ceremony in the courtyard. Angela was jaw-droppingly gorgeous as she walked down the stairs. After the ceremony we headed over to West Park for portraits, and onto their fabulous reception at The Mattress Factory Art Museum where we took a few portraits among the installations before the party begun. It is days like this that I pinch myself in the arm and feel incredibly blessed that I get to play a small part in capturing the little moments of magic that tells the story of love, family, and unity on a couple's wedding day. Below are some of my favorites from the day (all images were taken for Aaron Varga Photography).

Jocelyn and Joe were married at the end of July this year, and had a beautiful ceremony at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin church in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Their elegant black and blue reception followed at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Jocelyn surprised her mom with a mother-daughter dance. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them, and just adorable when other mothers joined the dance floor with their daughters. It was an absolute honor to capture their day while assisting my dear friend Nicolette Dixon.
Kellie and Thomas were married at Duquesne Chapel surrounded by their friends and family. After the ceremony we stopped by Kellie's parents house for a mini-session with her Yorkie Ariel, and her sister's Yorkie Pierogie. They were even dressed for the occasion. ;) The reception followed at St Clair Country Club where the newlyweds danced the night away. A big thank you to my good friend Tristan who was shooting with me that day.
Oh man. I was a happy photographer when I saw Ariel and Pierogie. Does it get any cuter than this?!?
Kellie and Thomas grandmothers were so cute. They were chitchatting all evening.
Love that dress!
Congratulations, Kellie and Thomas! It was an absolute honor to be part of your day.
